Forty live products. Four labs. The models they actually run, plus screens, videos, and the links you can open today.
“Built with AI” is a sloppy phrase. Most of the internet now has a chat box. This note is narrower. It lists shipping apps and websites whose core loop runs on Grok, Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini — first-party products, and a short list of well-known third-party tools that expose the model by name.
Models move every few weeks. Names below are what the vendors published in mid-September 2026. If a picker says Auto, the product is routing across more than one lab. That is not a footnote. That is the product.
How to read this list
- First-party means the lab ships the app.
- Routed means the app lets you pick the model, or an Auto router picks it.
- A demo link is a URL you can open without a press kit.
- Ratings below are public store or review scores, not ours.
Grok’s third-party catalog is still thin next to OpenAI. That is not a dunk. The API is younger. The honest list is mostly xAI’s own surface plus two multi-model tools that name Grok in the picker.
Grok (xAI) — apps
1. Grok for iOS
Model: Grok 4.6 (Expert / SuperGrok), Grok Imagine for image and video. Live: App Store. Play-Store-class ratings on the Android twin sit around 4.9. Chat, voice, file upload, Imagine. Same account as grok.com.
2. Grok for Android
Model: same family. Live: Play Store. Voice and Imagine sit behind SuperGrok limits. If you only need the feed, skip this and stay in X.
3. Grok inside the X app
Model: Grok 4.6 with X search. Live: x.com/i/grok and the X iOS/Android app. This is the product most people mean when they say Grok. Real-time posts, not a crawl from last Tuesday.
4. Grok Build (CLI / coding agent)
Model: grok-4.6, also sold on the API. Live: x.ai/cli and docs. Terminal agent. Plan mode. Same niche as Claude Code and Codex. SuperGrok / X Premium+ for the beta.
5. Cursor with Grok models
Model: Grok 4.5 / 4.6 and Grok Code sit in Cursor’s picker. Cursor docs call Grok 4.5 a flagship in their own pool and a required model for the router. Live: cursor.com. This is the main third-party desktop app where Grok writes production code.

Grok (xAI) — websites
1. grok.com
The standalone chat. Imagine, voice, projects, connectors. Open it.

2. Grok on X (web)
Same model, X-native UI. x.com/i/grok.
3. Grokipedia
xAI’s reference site, listed on the product footer next to Grok Enterprise. grokipedia.com.
4. xAI API console and docs
The builder surface. OpenAI-compatible base URL at https://api.x.ai/v1. console.x.ai · docs.x.ai.
5. Perplexity Computer (Grok as a worker)
Not an xAI site. Perplexity’s agent stack has publicly described routing lightweight, speed-sensitive work to Grok while Claude handles orchestration. perplexity.ai. Useful as a live demo of Grok inside someone else’s product.
Claude (Anthropic) — apps
1. Claude iOS and Android
Model: Claude Sonnet 5 day-to-day, Opus 5 and Fable 5.1 on paid tiers. Live: App Store / Play. Projects, artifacts, file upload. The phone app is the same account as claude.ai.
2. Claude Desktop
Model: same family. Local connectors and MCP. This is the machine you leave running while Claude Code works a repo.
3. Claude Code
Model: Sonnet 5, Opus 5, Fable 5.1. Live: code.claude.com and the CLI. Terminal agent that edits your tree, opens PRs, and can publish a live Artifact from a session.

4. Claude in Slack
Model: Claude in the channel. @Claude can hand a thread to Claude Code. Live: Slack Marketplace, paid Slack workspaces. This is the teammate version, not a side chat.
5. GitHub Copilot with Claude models
Model: Claude Sonnet 4.6 / 5, Opus, Fable on request, plus Auto routing. Live: VS Code, JetBrains, github.com. Copilot is multi-lab now. Claude is the coding default for a large slice of teams.
Claude (Anthropic) — websites
1. claude.ai
The chat. Projects, research, computer-use style work, Design / Docs / Slides on paid plans. claude.ai.
2. Claude Artifacts
Chat becomes a hosted mini-app. React, HTML, SVG, Markdown. Share a URL. Feature page.

3. Anthropic Console
API keys, evals, usage. console.anthropic.com. This is the invoice for every Claude-powered SaaS you host.
4. Perplexity (Claude in the picker)
Pro plans expose Claude Sonnet 4.6; Max adds Opus. Computer’s orchestrator has been described as Claude Opus. perplexity.ai.
5. Poe
Quora’s multi-bot site. Claude bots have been a top row for years. poe.com. Good when you want Claude without an Anthropic login.
ChatGPT (OpenAI) — apps
1. ChatGPT iOS and Android
Model: GPT-5.6 family (Sol / Terra / Luna) and the Astra coding line, plus image tools. The most-downloaded assistant. Voice, camera, apps inside the thread.
2. ChatGPT desktop / ChatGPT Work
Model: same system, Work tab ties in Codex and connectors. Live: chatgpt.com. Calendar, Slack, Gmail connectors on the home card.

3. Codex
Model: GPT-5.6 Sol and GPT-6 Astra in the Codex CLI / IDE / cloud. OpenAI’s coding agent. Lives next to ChatGPT Work, not instead of it.
4. GitHub Copilot (OpenAI models)
Model: GPT-5.4 through GPT-5.6 and GPT-6 Astra, hosted by OpenAI for those SKUs. Auto mode also routes to Claude. Live: every mainstream IDE.

5. Notion AI
Model: OpenAI models have powered Notion AI since the 2023 launch; Notion now mixes providers, but the writing/Q&A loop is still the textbook GPT product inside a workspace. Live: notion.so and the Notion apps. One of OpenAI’s published trillion-token customers.
ChatGPT (OpenAI) — websites
1. chatgpt.com
The site. Custom GPTs, apps, projects, voice. Start here.
2. platform.openai.com
API, Agents, Responses, Realtime. Every third-party GPT app on this list bills through here or Azure.
3. Apps inside ChatGPT (Canva, Zillow, Spotify, Booking, Expedia, Figma, Coursera)
Not separate websites. They are first-party demos of the Apps SDK running on GPT-5-class models. Open ChatGPT, type the brand. Launch note.
4. Khanmigo / Khan Academy
Khan Academy’s tutor. Built on GPT. Still the cleanest education demo OpenAI can point at. khanmigo.ai.
5. Microsoft 365 Copilot on the web
Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams in the browser. OpenAI models on Azure. If your office already pays Microsoft, this is the ChatGPT you already bought.
A note on Duolingo: Max launched as a GPT-4 partner. By 2026 the company said Video Call cost dropped under a cent on open-source models and drifted into Super. Treat “powered by GPT-4” case studies as dated unless the vendor still says so.
Gemini (Google) — apps
1. Gemini for iOS and Android
Model: Gemini 3.x Flash / Pro, Nano Banana image, Veo video on paid plans. Live voice. Live: Gemini app on both stores.

2. Google app — Search AI Mode
Model: Gemini 3.5 Flash in AI Mode as of I/O 2026. This is Gemini with a billion-user front door. Not a chatbot you open on purpose. It is Search.
3. NotebookLM / Gemini Notebook
Model: Gemini 3.x. Audio and video overviews, source-grounded chat. Mobile apps plus the web app. Google has been folding the brand toward “Gemini Notebook.”
4. Gemini in Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Meet
Model: Gemini inside Workspace. The app is the suite you already run. Side panel, not a new icon.
5. Gemini CLI and Antigravity
Model: Gemini 3.5 / 3.8 Flash. Terminal agent and Google’s agent IDE. gemini-cli. The free-tier coding surface.
Gemini (Google) — websites
1. gemini.google.com
The chat. Deep Research, image, video, notebooks. Open it.
2. Google AI Studio
Prompt workbench and “Build” mode that vibe-codes a web or Android app against the Gemini API. aistudio.google.com.
3. notebooklm.google.com
Still the cleanest grounded-research demo in this whole article. Paste PDFs, get a podcast. notebooklm.google.com.

4. Google Search (AI Overviews / AI Mode)
google.com. Gemini answers on the results page. If traffic to a hosted site moved, this is why.
5. Google AI / Flow / Labs
Veo video, Flow, experimental tools. ai.google/products. The public showroom for Gemini Omni and Veo.
The routers — one UI, four labs
If you only remember one diagram, remember this. A lot of “apps built with Claude” are the same binary as “apps built with GPT.”
| Product | What it is | Models you can actually pick | Open |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cursor | AI IDE | Grok 4.5/4.6, Claude Fable/Opus/Sonnet, GPT-5.6, Gemini 3.x, Composer | cursor.com |
| GitHub Copilot | IDE + github.com | GPT-5.x / Astra, Claude Sonnet/Opus/Fable, Gemini Flash, Auto | github.com |
| Perplexity | Answer engine + Computer | GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok in the stack, Sonar | perplexity.ai |
| Poe | Multi-bot chat | Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok bots | poe.com |
| OpenRouter | One API, many labs | Whatever you pay for | openrouter.ai |
What this means on a host invoice
None of these chat UIs need a special panel. They need a boring stack: TLS, a stable origin, logs you can read, and enough egress for people who paste 40-page PDFs into NotebookLM or Artifacts.
- If you embed an official widget, you are a front end. The tokens bill the lab.
- If you call an API from PHP or Node on a VPS, you hold the key. Rotate it. Do not commit it.
- If you self-host Open WebUI in front of OpenRouter, you now operate a mini-lab. Plan RAM and a lock on the admin path.
- Search AI Overviews will summarize your docs whether you like it or not. Write pages that still make sense as a citation.
Short answers
Which stack has the most real apps?
OpenAI, then Google, then Anthropic, then xAI. That order is distribution, not IQ.
Which one should a developer pay for first?
If the work is a repo: Cursor or Claude Code. If the work is search: Perplexity or Gemini. If the work is “one account that does everything”: ChatGPT. If the work is X and images with fewer nags: Grok.
Can I put these demos on a WordPress host?
The screenshots and SVGs in this post, yes. The products themselves are other people’s origins. Iframe what their terms allow. Do not scrape a chat UI onto your domain and call it yours.
