Q: How long does setup take?
Shared web hosting packages are done automatically, instantly after
payment is made. Reseller accounts take anywhere from 15 minutes or more
during normal business hours. For dedicated servers and vps, anywhere from 1 hour (if stated) or more
(excluding Sundays).
Q: Can I upgrade in the
future?
Absolutely. Anytime. No service interruption involved (unless switching
dedicated servers). Just login to your billing account and go to "my package".
Select base package or add-on upgrades options and follow the simple steps.
Q: Are there any
upgrade fees?
Never a setup fee at LogicWeb for upgrades. Only
custom build-to-order dedicated servers may have a small setup fee.
Q: Are there any contracts?
No. You come and leave as you choose. Our guaranteed satisfaction is our
contract to you. You'll stay.
Q: What payment methods
you accept?
AMEX, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, PayPal, Google Checkout, checks, money-order and
bank wire.
Q: Do you accept PayPal?
Yes.
Q: Can I pay by check
or money order?
Yes. For checks, we recommend PayPal's echeck payment service. For money

accounts support over selling?
Our cPanel reseller accounts do not support overselling.
Q: What is
the mailbox and attachment size limit?
There is no set limit by default. You choose your own limit for mailbox size
and attachments are not limited either.
Q: Do you use php safe mode
on?
No we do not. We use suPHP support for enhanced security.

What type of connection is your network on?

located?
TEAM data center in Cedar Falls, IA.
Q: Do you offer free backups?
Yes, backups are included with your shared and reseller plans and paid
optional NAS backups for VPS and Dedicated servers.
Q: Do you allow
audio/video streaming?
We allow audio / video streaming on our vps and dedicated servers only. You
may do basic streaming on our shared or reseller packages. We do not provide
any software for this. You will need to install your own software.

your web hosting plans come with free software?

Q: Will you transfer my data?
We will transfer your data from your old host for free. If for any reasons we
are not able to do so, you will need to manually transfer your data our server.
We transfer only if your old host is using one of the following control panels:
Cpanel, Plesk, Ensim. You must purchase one of the following control panels from
us as well (cPanel provided already with shared/reseller packages): cPanel,
Plesk (vps), Interworx.

We offer 24/7 TrueLogic™ Tech Support via the following methods: online

knowledgebase. We do not offer phone, email or chat support at this time.
Q: Are your servers fully
managed?
Each vps or dedicated server is self managed (no software support) unless management
is purchased. Please click here to read about our managed services.
Q: Do I
have root access for my dedicated server?
Yes. You get full root access with any dedicated server.

What type of documentations do you offer for additional support?

Scripting & Programming
Q. Will you install
custom Perl modules?
Our support team will install almost any Perl module upon
request. Simply contact customer service with your request.
Q. Will
you install my programs and scripts for me?
We’re sorry, but we can’t accommodate that kind of support. Our hosting
accounts come with an auto installer that allows you to install over 50 scripts
with the click of a button. Click here for a complete listing of scripts that
can be automatically installed. In addition to those popular scripts, LogicWeb
has written a custom-installer for the popular Ruby on Rails based blog system,
Typo.
If you need to install scripts that are not listed above, we cannot assist you
nor can we provide support for any of those third-party scripts (even if they
were installed with the auto installer). This policy is not to withhold any
specialized information or hoard our team’s experience. It is impossible for all
of our support staff to be fully versed in every available script, and if we
have not tested and included the scripts in question, we would be jeopardizing
the shared hosting environment by letting them all run rampant across our
network.
